Owls

Oh, my goodness. Do I need to explain why I love owls? They are one of the most special finds for me when out birding. Actually seeing one is always a bit of a shock, followed by lots of awe! Since 2012, I have seen 9/14 of Washington's owl species. I've been able to actually successfully photograph 8. My goal is to see them all, but only if it's in at minimal risk and invasion of the owls. People tend to go bonkers when these animals are reported, and I have had to go far and trek through miles and miles of wilderness in order to get away from the masses and ensure minimal risk to these beautiful creatures.
